Surface Echoes resources showcased at Edinburgh Futures Institute

Surface Echoes encompassed three years of collaboration and learning from creative professionals, arts and health researchers and those affected by eczema, to bring the written and spoken quotes of people living with eczema to new and wider audiences.

In April 2025, those that worked on the Surface Echoes project gathered at the Edinburgh Futures Institute to showcase the project resources and celebrate the project coming to a close. Guests were invited to immerse themselves in the PDF and audio versions of the script and learn from the voices behind it. Attendees were also invited on to the Dermatology Department in the Lauriston Building to view the collage from which the Surface Echoes script was developed.
