PhD student Ellie Earp presents her work at 'Organoids Are Us' conference

ECAT PhD student Dr Eleanor Earp gave an oral presentation at the 2025 Organoids Are Us conference, at the CRUK Scotland Institute, Glasgow.

Ellie is a clinical dermatologist and her PhD work, co-supervised by Profs Sally Lowell and Sara Brown has focussed on developing a novel skin organoid using embryonic stem cells to assess the effects of cells together in a neighbourhood.

This prestigious conference featured Prof Hans Clevers, Utrecht University, Netherland as a plenary speaker, alongside experts from the UK and globally, including Singapore, Italy, Germany and USA, in a sympoisum featuring organoids, stem cells, cancer, inflammatory disorders & infectious diseases.

Ellie's abstract was selected to be one of only nine short talks. Congratulations Ellie!
